LET'S GET HITCHED & MIX 94.5 30k Wedding

On April 11th 2014, Vinescakes had the pleasure of being involved with Lets Get Hitched and Mix94.5 and their 30k wedding giveaway.

The suppliers at Lets Get Hitched got together with Mix and a competition was run for a Bride and Groom to win a complete wedding valued at over 30k.........The hitch was..... it would all be planned for them. With over 800 couples entering, 3 couples were chosen and the public were asked to vote.

The winners Rachel & Ryan were chosen and the final details for the day were put into place.

At Lets get Hitched we had many meetings prior to the event with some of Perth's best Wedding suppliers to make sure the day was perfect. It was the best experience to be able to work with so many like minded suppliers who shared the same enthusiasm for the industry.

The venue was to be the beautiful Carilley Winery in the Swan Valley, organised and planned to perfection by Janine Batten.

It was an early start for all of us and we delivered and set up the cake at 5am. We had photographers with the bridal party, Grooms party, ceremony and a complete bridal shoot by James Burton as well as many taking behind the scenes shots of the suppliers.

Clairsey,  Shane and Kymba and the Mix crew were set up in the beautiful venue next to the stunning lolly buffet by Candy Corner with cupcakes and macarons by The Messy Apron and Sweetfayz Cakes.

Vinescakes chose a four tier cake for Rachel & Ryan complimenting the ivory and soft peach themes of the venue and decor. The cake was vintage in style with sugar lace and hand made sugar roses.

A traditional top tier for the fruit cake, and white chocolate and chocolate mud cakes for the others. It was a pleasure to make and loved by the couple which is what we wanted.
